Oulu Climbing Center and Oulun Kiipeilyseura -91 ry are organising the Junnu Open bouldering competition for juniors on Saturday 12.12.2026. We will update this page with more information about the competition in autumn as the event approaches.
The competitors will be divided into 2 groups according to the age categories below, and each group will have its own routes. There will be 10-15 routes per group. The winner is the climber who completes the most routes with the fewest attempts. The best girl and boy in each age category will be awarded prizes.
The 24/7 boulder hall will be closed for the entire days of 10.-11.12. while we set the competition routes. We will reopen the hall after the competition on Saturday 12.12. at around 15.30. The competition routes will work well for adults too, so there will be plenty to climb right after the competition! More routes will be set early the following week.

Group 2. Competition starts at 13.15

Climbing time: Group 1 11.-12.30 and Group 2 13.15-15.15

Competition venue: 24/7 Boulder (across the parking lot from the main hall)
Participation fee: 25 €/person (Oks-91 members, OKK annual members and annual members’ children 15 €) – payment at the front desk on the morning of the competition
